I had recently graduated from Eckerd college with a double major in Communication and Interdisciplinary Arts when my then mentor and photo editor, invited me to dinner with his family.
Leaning across the kitchen counter, his wife asked me what my plans for the future were and I said I wanted to open my very own studio. ​

As here eyebrows raised, I figured the best way to explain my seemingly lofty motivations was to recite a line from a song I had recently discovered summed me up quite well.

Our Story
Angelique Herring Studios was born of my undying passion for learning, my obsession with getting outside, and my love for being behind the camera capturing the good light.
​
The love for stories that this dynamic mix of traits has fostered within me has taken me from photojournalism on the Florida Gulf Coast to capturing reiki sessions in Costa Rica. I've photographed marine biology students hard at work, produced short films about groundbreaking research, captured surprise engagements and heartfelt weddings, and tailored story focused digital strategy for organizations like NASA.

I love storytelling. And, whether I'm in front of the camera, behind it, or typing up a strategy for finished content behind the screen, I tell stories for people with something to say and moments to share: and I do it with joy, passion and pride.
